🏡 Picking Up Locally?
Local pickup is available by appointment. To help make your puppy’s transition home as comfortable as possible, buyers are encouraged to bring:
- A small, secure crate or carrier appropriately sized for the puppy
- A soft, washable blanket or towel for comfort
- Fresh drinking water
- A small water bowl or travel water dispenser
- Puppy pads in case of an accident during the trip
- Paper towels or wipes for cleanup
Comfort Toy:
GN Poodles will provide a small soft toy carrying familiar scents from the puppy’s mother and littermates. This can provide familiarity and comfort during the transition into the puppy’s new home.
Feeding During the Trip:
We recommend not feeding your puppy during the trip home, as traveling immediately after eating may cause an upset stomach, nausea, or vomiting. Please wait until you arrive home before offering a meal.
GN Poodles will provide a bag of the dry kibble your puppy is currently eating so you can continue the same diet at home and gradually transition to a different food, if desired.
For the puppy’s safety, please transport your puppy in a secure crate or carrier and never loose in the vehicle or on a passenger’s lap while the vehicle is moving.
